Larry Weaner will present “The Art and Science of Designing Native Landscapes: Meadows, Grasslands, and Woodlands” with Eric Groft (Oehme van Sweden Landscape Architecture) and Jean Marie Hartman, Ph.D. (Rutgers University) at the 2013 American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Annual Meeting.
Designed meadows, grasslands and woodlands offer many environmental, managerial, and aesthetic benefits, yet designers often struggle to establish these complex ecosystems. This session will discuss proven design, installation, and management strategies for successfully establishing sustained meadows and woodlands from seed and live plants.
The session will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m in Boston, Massachusetts.
